What is Enduro?

Enduro racing combines many aspects from other mountain bike disciplines- endurance of cross country, technical features of downhill, and requires adaptability to all kinds of terrain and styles of trail. In a cross country race, riders compete in a group for fastest overall time on a course with terrain most suitable for a hardtail or short travel bike. A DH race is solo and downhill only; the course features rock gardens, rough terrain, and big features that test the riders technical ability. Enduro racing combines elements of both disciplines to offer a course that is both technically challenging but also requires some pedaling endurance. The timing method is unique as well. Riders are timed primarily on downhill, diverse segments, over several stages throughout the course.

DIRECTIONS: North entrance off Pumpkin Hollow. Coming from Walton take a left (West) onto 12th and cruise about a mile until the road Y’s. Take the Y to the left and a very short ways up turn left onto the gravel road. Follow the signs to racer parking.

Coler Trails is located about a mile west of downtown Bentonville on land designated as a mountain bike preserve. The Coler trails feature multiple flowy jump lines and challenging technical sections. Starting at the Hub there are multiple line choices to choose from. Fireline, which is essentially a downhill pump track packed with whoops, big berms, smooth doubles, and high-speed action. The Rock Solid line will put your wheels and technical abilities to the test as you blast through rock gardens and tight rock berms. Cease and Desist is the big boy jump line that takes you all the way down the mountain ending with Drop the Hammer, a big step down that sends you through the valley of more step ups and latter drops. ALL STAGES WILL HAVE ALTERNATE LINES TO AVOID BIG DROPS

CAMPING: On site in the lush grassy field in the valley surrounded by beautiful Arkansas singletrack. Registration would be 50 yards away.
