On April 1st, Pack Rat Outdoor Center, Fossil Cove Brewing Co., and, new for 2017, Apple Blossom Brewing Company are teaming up to bring you the Third Annual Brewha Bushwhack!

The Brewha Bushwhack:
Working together as a team, you will face challenges – and in that adversity, the team will find itself. This is not a beatdown obstacle race. While there will be physical challenges, the goal is to push the limit of the team’s diversity and ability to work together. Teams are encouraged to work together as needed to solve problems. Plan your own route of travel, and complete checkpoints in the order that seems best to you.
Finishing first helps you in no way, as you will race for points, not time.
The gear requirements are small; you will use little more than a knife, paracord, duct tape, and fire steel to complete each challenge as your navigate. At the end of it all, there will be some great beer, Barbecue, live music, and an awards ceremony where we’ll swap stories and compare scars.

In addition to the race and after party, we are bringing you the Brewha Boondoggle festival! Details below.

The Brewha Boondoggle:
Like the idea of the after party, but maybe the race seems a little too “bushwhacked” for your taste? We have just the thing for you! For 2017, we are adding a festival that will coincide with the race. You will get a stainless steel logo pint, dinner, live music, and much more! We are partnering with heaps of great outdoor companies, such as The North Face, Patagonia, Petzl, Big Agnes, and more, as well as some fantastic local non-profit groups, like The Nature Conservancy, Ozark Highlands Trail Association, and Mulberry River Society. There will be equipment demos, guided hikes, games, and technical skill clinics that will be good for kids and adults.
