This year there is just more fat to chew on. As always we are looking for new ways to include everyone and everything.
- For 2012 the Fatty Fest is on the USAC American Mountain Bike Challenge national grass roots calendar. Go to http://www.usacycling.org/ambc/ to see the series calendar and find out more about the AMBC.
- New Omni Classes. By popular demand, there is now a women’s only and juniors only Omni Classes. New Omni scoring as well. Additional prize money! Fatty Hats for all Classes. Check out the Omni Page under competitive events for more information.
- CAT III DH classes. That’s right newbies now welcome to “roll the dice”. Don’t worry about previous categories. USAC officials have made it clear we can CAT riders up or down on the spot if you feel like you have been in the wrong category or class.
- Expanded classes across the board. Due to the New Omni Classes, classes and categories have expanded in all disciplines. Check the spread sheets in your favorite event to see where you fit in.
- Big Town Ride. This is a combination of all the in-town rides we have done in the past. A no-miss event. Go to the non-competitive events page to find out more about the only ride of its kind in the central US.
- Bigger and Better Kid’s Rodeo. What was the most incredible surprise of last year we hope will be the best thing again this year. More stunts, more games and more fun for kids on two wheels.
