2011 Jingle Bell Run (Little Rock)

Searcy County Winter Accommodations.

I’m not sure but I may have just witnessed the first race to utilize the Clinton Library Bridge, The 2011 Jingle Bell Run/Walk for the Arthritis Foundation. The weather was beautiful, the crowd was festive and it looked like everyone was having a great time.

Santa leads the way.

The run took competitors, and non-competitors from the Clinton Library over the Broadway Bridge and then to the Clinton Library Bridge and the finish line.

Fleet Feet Little Rock, now hiring.
The leaders coming across the bridge.
Reindeer on the bridge.
The walkers, taking a different route, went under the Clinton Library Bridge.

  1. I’m so glad I got up there for the runners coming up that little incline at mile 2.958562.. : ) Some seemed to suffer for it more than others. And it’s hard to tell who appreciates a cheer at that point or just wishes you’d shut up. But I did get one very hardy “Meerrryyy Christmas!” from a runner. It was next to impossible to see what I was actually getting in the shot with my iPhone but must say I am pleased!
