“The Arkansas Grand Prix is a year-long series of road and cross-country races administered by the Arkansas chapter of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). To enter the Arkansas Grand Prix, a runner must first belong to one of the Arkansas RRCA Running Clubs, located throughout the state. The clubs also compete against one another in the Team Competition.
Runners and clubs accumulate points based on finishing order in each race. Awards are given to top runners and teams at an annual awards ceremony in February following the conclusion of the Grand Prix Series. Registration is open for the 2011 Grand Prix season, check our homepage for links to online registration or a mail-in entry form.”
There are a total of 17 races in Arkansas and the first 10 are over but it’s not too late to get in on the fun. These races vary in length from 5Ks to full marathons. The next three are the shorter 5Ks giving new runners time to work up to the longer runs in the cooler weather of Fall. You can see the list of all races and get more information on the ARKRRCA website. Below is the list of upcoming races.
