Freezin for a Reason is for runners and walkers of all abilities. We offer a 5k, 10k, and the Lap for life for families and their children to take one lap around the track to honor all those past and present patients of Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Children and strollers are welcome at all events. All registered participants will receive a t-shirt. We will also have free food and lots of free fun kids activities like bounce houses, face painting, games, and. more.
The Freezin for a Reason event will begin and end at the Conway High School West Campus, located at 2300 Prince Street in Conway, Arkansas. The 5k/10k will begin at 9 am. The Lap for Life will begin at approx 10:45 am.
“The Beat Goes On” 5K Run/Walk is an event presented by the Saline Memorial Health Foundation and SMH Heart and Vascular Services. All proceeds will benefit the SMH Foundation Cardiac Assistance Fund, which supports cardiac care in Saline County. The funds will be used to support cardiac needs in our community such as assisting patients with cardiac medication expenses and adding new technology.
The 5K Run/Walk course will start and finish at Saline Memorial Hospital. Registration and post-race refreshments will be located inside. It is recommended that runners start up front and walkers line-up in back.
The Saline Memorial Health Foundation and Everett Buick GMC are ready for the 8th annual The Beat Goes On 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, February 24. Proceeds from the event will fund CPR equipment and education for all Saline County schools—ensuring all graduating students are CPR trained.
The Beat Goes On 5K (3.1 miles), which is a certified course, will start at SMH and will take participants through downtown Benton. This is a chip timed race. Online registration is available at www.SalineMemorial.org or participants can download a registration form on arkansasrunner.com. Pre-registration is $20 or $25 the day of the event. Included in the registration fee is a long-sleeved race t-shirt.

The annual Van Davis Memorial 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run supports the National Park College Foundation by providing scholarships for current students. Strategically scheduled for six weeks into the new year, it gives everyone the opportunity to meet their new year’s health and fitness goals. The race will start at 8:30 am at the Junior League Building on Scott Street, and will feature Downtown Little Rock landmarks, such as the River Market, Clinton Library, and Arkansas Arts Center. The race is also handicap and stroller accessible. In addition to the 10K/5K, this year’s event will include a Kids 1K event, “Downtown Dash, Jr.” Downtown Dash, Jr. will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The Junior League of Little Rock is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Rocket 5K- yeah it’s tough, get over it.
The 13th Annual Rocket 5K Race will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Catholic High School. The Rocket 5K Race is tough, living up to the theme “It’s Tough…Get Over It” but is also is a family race.You can run or walk the 5K or 3K. You can bring your dog to walk the 3K with Zeke, the CHS resident canine.
The Foundation/Alumni Association’s mission is to provide need-based tuition assistance to boys regardless of their financial situation and to supplement teachers’ salaries in order to attract and retain the best and the brightest educators.
Kids Rocket Dash
Children 10 and under can participate in the Kids’ Rocket Dash. Each child who participates goes home a winner with his or her very own medal. There is a 100 meter dash for 1-4 year olds and a 300 meter dash for ages 5-10 divided into age groups.

Fundraising Race Events: Cow Paddy Run & Hero Half Marathon
The Cow Paddy Run is comprised of a 5K and 1K Fun Run at Gulley Park in Fayetteville, AR hosted by The Spark Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission to create a positive impact in our community by providing increased access to health and fitness opportunities while supporting academic excellence. Proceeds support innovative educational projects in schools through the Fayetteville Public Education Foundation as well as our Foundation’s outreach programming.
4 EVENTS – Duathlon, 5K Run, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, and Bike Time Trial.
Iron Pig Duathlon
A USA Triathlon sanctioned duathlon that consists of a 3 mile run, 18 mile bike and 3 mile run.
Iron Pig Run/Walk
5K Run and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk which are both held on the same course. The flattest course you’ll ever run/walk on!
Iron Pig Time Trial
USA Cycling sanctioned 17 mile bike time trial. Known as the “race of truth”, cyclists can test themselves against the clock. Several categories with a non-aero equipment category as well. Come set a course record or test yourself against the times of the duathlon competitors.
THE COURSES:The run courses are flat and fast! The bike course is out and back on Scenic Hwy 71. The finish is located just in front of the airport terminal. This course is geared to people looking for a challenge, but is not too hilly for an early season test. A good first-time event for an individual or team or a great way to kickoff the race season for the seasoned athlete.
The MacArthur Park 5K is an annual race in downtown Little Rock coordinated by the MacArthur Park Group, Little Rock Parks & Recreation and Downtown Little Rock Partnership. (macarthurparklr.com) The 3.1 mile race (5K) begins from the North Lawn (9th Street) of MacArthur Park in front of the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. The MacArthur Park 5K is held each year in May. Proceeds from the race are used to support projects in the park.
Event Details and Schedule
Packet pick up and registration is from 5 p.m.- 6:45p.m. on Friday, May 4 in the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History (upstairs). You will receive your t-shirt, bib and chip. The race will begin promptly at 7 p.m. This race is timed using chip timing. Each chip must be returned to the race organizers once you cross the finish line.
Time and Place
The 5K race will start at 8:00 a.m. followed shortly by the 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, May 4, 2019. The race will begin at Christ the King Ministries Building parking lot located on the corner of N. Rodney Parham Road and Pleasant Forest Road, Little Rock, AR 72212. Look for the Fleet Feet arch. NEW! Timing chips will be used for both the 5K and Fun Run! Chip pick up begins at 7:00 a.m. The course will include two water/Gatorade stops.

Registration and Packet Pick-Up will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the Safe Room of Christ the King Catholic School. Packets may also be picked up the day of the race from 7:00 – 7:30 a.m. at the Fleet Feet arch or in the Eckert Center if it is raining. Chip pick up begins at 7:00 a.m. on Race Day.
Virtual Runners will receive a t-shirt only, no packet. T-shirts should be picked up during Packet Pick-Up times.

Superheroes for Autism
**5K is USATF Certified**
Developmental Wings will host the Super Heroes for Autism 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run on May 11, 2019. This is a great excuse to dress up as your favorite super hero and raise money for our programs.
Early Registration is available now through April 12th and guarantees a t-shirt for each participant. Late registration is available April 13th through May 10th.
The race will start at 8:00 a.m. downtown at the Riverfront Amphitheater. Race day registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. We will offer early packet pick-up on May 10th from 5-7 pm at Creekmore park. There will be medals for the top male and female finishers and age group awards. There will also be prizes for best costume in individual male and female (adult and children) categories and prizes for the best “TEAM” costume!
Women Run Arkansas Running Club, an RRCA organization, was formed in 2000 in response to the need for a statewide women’s running and walking club.
The mission of WRA is to address the special needs of women’s fitness, while promoting health and fitness through running and walking.

Register for the Little Rock Get Your Rear in Gear® 5K Run/Walk to help raise funds for colon cancer awareness efforts in the Little Rock area. Monies raised will stay in our community, helping with prevention, early detection and treatment, and healthy living projects for this disease. The event includes refreshments, tech shirts and marathon quality medals for age group winners. Get Your Rear in Gear provides a special opportunity to honor survivors and those lost to colon cancer in our community.

The Annual Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival will kick off Saturday June 10, 2017, with the pageants to be held at the Cultural Center in Warren. The main attractions will be held the second full weekend in June, as always, in Downtown Warren. Make your plans to attend, and be sure to become a fan on our Facebook page!
TGR100/MTB/5K Run/Walk benefits the Community Services Clearinghouse.
Route Distances: Road Ride 10, 28,42,66 and 100 miles, the Mountain Bike Ride is a 15 mile guided Mountain Bike Tour and the newest addition is the 5K Walk/Run. We offer a course for riders of any skill level.
Entry Fees: Registration is $50 for the TGR , $45 for the TG Mountain Bike Ride and $35 for the TG 5K Walk/Run.
The Clearinghouse is a well-established, non-profit organization located in Fort Smith, Arkansas, that provides emergency assistance to families and children in need throughout seven counties in Arkansas and Oklahoma. The most well-known program the Clearinghouse offers is the Meals for Kids backpack program, which distributes over 2,500 sacks of weekend food each Friday to children who otherwise would go hungry before returning to class on Monday.
The Brickfest 5K is a run/walk that starts at the Sykes parking lot in Malvern, AR and runs down to the Ouachita River following the beautiful white water park in Malvern. With only one short incline, it’s a great 5K for all levels. Brickfest festivities are directly across the street for post race fun.
The Brickfest 5K is part of the annual Malvern Brickfest festivities. This is a 5K route that partially follows the beautiful Ouchita River. All proceeds from the race go towards raising money for college scholarships awarded to local teens.
FLEET FEET SPORTS EASY RUNNER
THIS REGIONAL ROAD RACE HAS BECOME A 4TH OF JULY RACE TRADITION. THE RACE WILL CELEBRATE ITS 43rd YEAR IN 2019. RUNNER’S WORLD MAGAZINE HAS CALLED THIS COURSE ONE OF THE FASTEST IN THE USA.
Firecracker Fast 5K
- The course records are held by Ruben Reina with 13:26 and Collette Murphy with 15:23.
- The race has been the first road race of many runners. Governor Huckabee ran his first road race as governor in 2004.
- Running legends Bill Rodgers, Frank Shorter, and Joan Benoit Samuelson have each run the Firecracker several times.
- 2016 winners were Elizabeth Gillette in a time of 18:10:80 and Shaun Koehn in a time of 16:04.70.
- This is a point to point race. You can park at the start line and take the trolly from the finish back to the start after the race. Two trolleys will be running from finish line back to the start line from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
WHAT IS THE EUREKA SPRINGS MULTISPORT FESTIVAL?
A three-day multisport festival consisting of a sprint-distance triathlon on Friday afternoon, Gran Fondos (road bike rides) on Saturday morning and running races on Sunday. Participants can enter individual events or take one of two “Eurekan” challenges.
WHAT IS “THE EUREKAN”?
The name not only is the moniker of the event, but also refers to participants who complete the ultimate challenge! Any participant who enters the “Full Eurekan” who can complete the triathlon, 100 mile ride and 10K run will be known as “The Eurekan”! There is also a Half Eurekan competition which is the triathlon, 62 mile bike ride and 5K run.
The triathlon is located on Holiday Island, just a few minutes from downtown Eureka Springs. The finish line for the biking and running events are the same place each day which is located in the heart of Eureka Springs on historic Main Street in front of the Eureka Springs City Courthouse.

The Annual Run with the Flock is a race event for which all the proceeds will be donated in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Did you know approximately every 3 minutes one person in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer? The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. LLS has invested more than $1 billion in research to find cures for blood cancer patients.
Awards for Top Male & Female and Age Division Awards. 5K participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal when they complete the race. 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk participants will also receive a t-shirt and a special medal! To be guaranteed a t-shirt, you must register by August 1.
Packet Pick Up will be Friday, August 23 at Rock City Running on Rodney Parham Road from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

5K Run begins at 8:00 am at City Hall. The Family Fun Run starts at 9:00 am; bring your pup, and run/walk a mile lap.

Early packet pick-up is Friday at Go Running! in the Heights from 2-6 p.m. You can also pick up packets the day of the race from 6:30-7:30 am for the 5k. Sports bag will be provided to all pre-registered runners/walkers. On day of race, they will be handed out until we run out.
Top 3 Male and Female runners and walkers will get a unique trophy.
