Women’s Mountain Bike Skills Session 1 Beginner Fundamentals @ Lake Fayetteville
Join Zuzanna Sitek and Lizzie Graham, BICP Level 1 instructors, in an all-women’s introduction to fundamental mountain biking skills.

About this Event

The session will begin with basic skills instruction and assessment followed by a group ride where those skills will be applied on the trail.

Participants should have the following:

Functioning mountain bike Helmet Hydration Close-toed shoes

Sessions are open to girls 15 and older. All participants will have to sign a waiver on site. Participants under the age of 18 will have to have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Should a session have to be moved or postponed because of weather, participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance in which case session will be moved to Sunday, February 24 from 9-11 am. In the event of wet trails, the session may be held at Lake Weddington, which holds up well following rain.

Proceeds will be donated to the Fayetteville and Pea Ridge NICA teams. For more about Arkansas NICA:http://www.arkansasmtb.org/

Ponca to Steel Creek Hike - Outdoor Adventures for Women @ Ponca Access / Low Water Bridge

Join us for a 4-mile round trip hike along the Buffalo River Trail. This is a moderate hike for all skill levels with bluff and river views.

Meet at Ponca low water bridge @ 10:30 AM. The hike starts @ 11 AM. We will hike two miles to Steel Creek campground where we will stop for lunch and a break and then head 2 miles back to Ponca and our cars.

Please bring:
Water
Lunch and Snacks
Hiking Clothes
Hiking Shoes

*Directions: Google Ponca low water bridge or the Buffalo Outdoor Center.

Waterfall Tour- 3 Falls, One Day - Outdoor Adventures for Women @ Kings River Falls

3 Waterfalls all in One Day! This is a Free driving tour of 3 of the most cherished Arkansas falls in the Northwest region.

Kings River Falls:
Meet us in Eureka Springs at the Equity Bank parking lot (107 W Van Buren) @ 9 AM where we will caravan a little over an hour to the first trailhead at Kings River Falls (Madison 3500 Witter, AR). You are welcome to meet at the trailhead @ 10 AM if Eureka is not on your route.
The hike to the falls is an easy flat 2-mile round trip.

Glory Hole Falls:
We will make our way back to our vehicles and head to the Glory Hole trailhead. We will hike 1.8 miles round trip to this popular site where we can enjoy a short lunch break.

Triple Falls:
We will then continue another hour on the road to Triple Falls near the Buffalo River. The .3 miles in and out trail will end our day on a lighter note. We expect to be headed back towards Eureka Springs no later than 4 PM so plan on a full day of adventuring!

Lunch and snacks
Hiking Clothes
Hiking Shoes
**Make sure your car is full of gas.
Also, plan on low points of cell reception.

Women’s Summer Diversity Float Trip!

Get Outside with Outdoor Adventures for Women! Join us on a 4 mile, 1/2 day kayak trip on the White River just 10 minutes west of Eureka Springs. Meet at Spider Creek Resort @ 10 AM Saturday, August 3rd. Kayak, Shuttles, Life Vest, Paddles, and Lunch provided. If you have your own Kayak/Canoe, you still need to purchase a ticket and you will be responsible for shuttling yourself (lunch is provided).

Single (Kayak) – $95 per person
Double (Canoe) – $125 for two persons
Bring your own boat- $30

Let’s get outside together and enjoy the Fall Color! Join OAFW for a moderate 4-mile loop hike at Lake Leatherwood City Park-Beacham Trail. Lunch provided. Please bring water. Meet @11: 30 AM for a hike @12PM.

This is a moderate hike. Scenic Trail that takes you along the Lake Leatherwood banks and through the wooded paths to the Leatherwood Dam. Great for photo ops!
