We are not currently taking down events as we haven’t received any definitives from most event organizers. TGR100/MTB/5K Run/Walk benefits the Community Services Clearinghouse.

Route Distances: Road Ride 10, 28,42,66 and 100 miles, the Mountain Bike Ride is a 15 mile guided Mountain Bike Tour and the newest addition is the 5K Walk/Run. We offer a course for riders of any skill level.

Entry Fees: Registration is $50 for the TGR , $45 for the TG Mountain Bike Ride and $35 for the TG 5K Walk/Run.

The Clearinghouse is a well-established, non-profit organization located in Fort Smith, Arkansas, that provides emergency assistance to families and children in need throughout seven counties in Arkansas and Oklahoma. The most well-known program the Clearinghouse offers is the Meals for Kids backpack program, which distributes over 2,500 sacks of weekend food each Friday to children who otherwise would go hungry before returning to class on Monday.

Event Details

Pre packet pick up Friday 2pm to 9pm at the Central Hub on Magnolia square. Come have a beer or two and meet the other riders!

Pre event breakfast starts at 6 am followed by ride start at 7:30 am.

Day of registration starts at 6 am at the breakfast.

Sag support will be on the routes. There will be plenty of fully stocked rest stops and several water stations in between to help keep you fueled till the end.

Finish/start line activities will begin shortly after the ride start, where there will be food, door prizes, finisher medals, etc.

The Wampoo Roadeo is a fund raiser for the Marilyn Fulper Memorial Fund. The fund is used to improve the cycling infrastructure in Central Arkansas by purchasing, installing and donating cycling related equipment. Past projects include purchasing and installing five bicycle fixit stations along the Arkansas River Trail, three high security air pumps, donating 1000 helmets to Recycle Bikes For Kids, a donation to the Laura Wooldridge Memorial Fund, a donation toward the purchase of a mechanical sweeper for the ART on both sides of the river, and a donation toward purchasing a water fountain for the ART.

The Big Dam Bridge 100 is Arkansas’s largest cycling tour! Offering distances of 10/32/50/68/100 miles. This is a don’t miss event for cyclist in the mid south region.

Each year, thousands of cyclists from around the country descend on Central Arkansas for what has become the largest and most publicized cycling tour in Arkansas. The Big Dam Bridge, famous for its name and its reputation for being the longest bicycle bridge in the world, has attracted cyclists from all over to participate in this yearly event.

Michelob Ultra Bear Creek Challenge @ Marianna Town Square

This event is a non-competitive 15 mile ride on the St. Francis National Forest portion of the Big River Trail from Memphis to Arkansas City. The ride is a roundtrip from the Marianna Town Square to the spillway at Bear Creek Lake. A shorter 5 mile ride can be made by turning around at the Mississippi River State Park Visitors Center. Start time is 9:00am September 28th. All pre-entries are guaranteed an event T-shirt. Snacks and refreshments will be complimentary before and after the race as well as on the ride. Proceeds will benefit the veteran of Lee County. The ride is in conjunction with the Marianna Autumn on the Square Festival. Plan to enjoy your day at the festival.

Tour of the Hollows (Canceled or Postponed) @ Cove Creek Church

The inaugural gravel grinder p/b the UARK Cycling Club and Walton College of Business. 35 mile (2600 ft. elevation) and 60 mile (4700 ft. of elevation) options. $1,000 payout (equal for men and women). All proceeds go toward the club and lowering the barriers of entry for collegiate cycling.

The inaugural Tour of the Hollows is the next great addition to the Northwest Arkansas cycling calendar. Organized by students at the University of Arkansas Cycling Club, in partnership with the Sam M. Walton College of Business, all proceeds will go directly toward supporting the club and toward lowering the barriers of entry for collegiate cyclists.

There will be a $1,000 prize purse, equal payout for men and women, a raffle for participants who register before March 1st, merchandise awards, food and drinks, an aid station, and some beautiful, remote gravel roads with challenging climbs, sweet descents, and amazing views!

The event will feature two route options, the Big Hollow (60 miles with ~5,300 ft. of climbing) and the Small Hollow (35 miles and ~3,300 ft. of climbing) which will take you up, down, and through the beautiful hollows (Ozarkian valleys) of Northwest Arkansas.

Only Big Hollow participants are eligible for the $1,000 prize purse, but Small Hollow participants are eligible for merchandise awards, and all participants are automatically entered into a raffle for FREE registration if you register before March 1st!

The Ark-La-Tex Challenge offers both novice and experienced cyclists a ride unlike many others. This ride will allow you to ride through three states in one ride. We offer five different distances to accommodate different cyclist levels. 35 Miles into the 70 mile route you will arrive at 3 states and get to take a victory photo standing in Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana! Just the motivation you need half way through!

The Fayetteville Wheelmen cycling team supports riders and racers of all levels. We hope that you will join us to not only race your bike, but also to help support the advancement of cycling in NW Arkansas.

The NWA Spring Classic Road Race is part of the USA Cycling Road Development Race Series. Separate awards will be given to Junior Men and Women riders from ages 10-18. See event info for specific racing categories.

Lewis & Clark Ozark Adventure Ride

DESCRIPTION

A trail run and fun run with a twist held on the Lake Fayetteville soft-surface trail! There will be gift coupons and prizes hidden in and around the Lake Fayetteville trail and park system. You don’t have to be fast to win lots of great prizes or gift coupons from Lewis & Clark Outfitters and their merchandise suppliers. This event will have something for everyone!  Two distances  – a 7-mile loop mostly on the soft-surface trail of Lake Fayetteville. A 2-mile fun run on the north shore of Lake Fayetteville.

If you like riding better than running, then sign up for the Lewis and Clark Urban Adventure Ride, which is on the same day and time!  Choose your distance and enjoy a bike ride around Lake Fayetteville and into Fayetteville with stops along the way.  Then meet up with everyone from both events for pancakes and prizes!

CARTI’s Tour de Rock @ Riverfront Park

Tour de Rock is an annual bicycle ride in North Little Rock, Arkansas that benefits CARTI (Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute), a not-for-profit health-care organization that provides the finest-quality radiation therapy and compassionate patient care to cancer patients in Arkansas and the surrounding states.

CARTI’s 16th Annual Tour de Rock presented by Russell Chevrolet will take place on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Five rides to choose from: 25, 50, 62, 80, or 100 miles. Pancake-flat course, very well-supported ride with and plenty of rest stops. Registration opens on January 1, 2018 and includes registration fee, commemorative t-shirt, and post-ride party complete with music, exhibitors, great food, and beer garden.

What:  Four pancake-flat 25, 50, 62,  and 100 mile routes through Central Arkansas.

Who:  over 1,000 cyclists from Arkansas and beyond

Where: Route begins and ends on Riverfront Drive and Brother Paul Drive in N. Little Rock.  After party at Heifer International Pavilion.

Why:  To fight cancer and help CARTI deliver the most advanced forms of cancer care.  Chances are you’ve been impacted by cancer.  CARTI’s Tour de Rock is an opportunity to honor the ones who’ve fought the battle.  Who will you ride for?

Compassion’s Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the local domestic violence shelter. Our mission is to provide effective and accessible services to individuals and families who experience domestic violence and/or sexual assault and to be a proactive and visible source of related intervention, education, and prevention services to the community. Your registration fees or donations will go towards these efforts and help us to be able to continue providing support.
