We are not currently taking down events as we haven’t received any definitives from most event organizers. 4 EVENTS – Duathlon, 5K Run, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, and Bike Time Trial.
7:00 – 8:30 am – Packet Pickup and Registration (inside airport terminal)
7:00 am – Transition Opens
7:00 am – Chip Distribution for duathlon at transition begins
8:30 am – Chip and packet pickup closes – Duathlon/5K/Fun Run
8:30 am – Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting – Duathlon/5K/Fun Run
8:40 am – National Anthem and Prayer
8:45 am – Fun Run Start
8:50 am – Last chance to return to transition
8:55 am – Transition closes
9:00 am – Bike Time Trial packet pickup at start house
9:00 am – Duathlon Individual Males Start
9:02 am – Duathlon Individual Females AND Team Runners Start
9:10 am – 5K Run Start
9:30 am – Food and Beverage for Finishers
9:45 am – Bike Time Trial packet pickup closes at start house
10:00 am – 5K Awards
10:15 am – Bike Time Trial Begins
11:00 am (approx.) – Transition area opens to retrieve bikes
11:15 am – Giveaway prizes begin

Iron Pig Duathlon
A USA Triathlon sanctioned duathlon that consists of a 3 mile run, 18 mile bike and 3 mile run.
Iron Pig Run/Walk
5K Run and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk which are both held on the same course. The flattest course you’ll ever run/walk on!
Iron Pig Time Trial
USA Cycling sanctioned 17 mile bike time trial. Known as the “race of truth”, cyclists can test themselves against the clock. Several categories with a non-aero equipment category as well. Come set a course record or test yourself against the times of the duathlon competitors.
THE COURSES:The run courses are flat and fast! The bike course is out and back on Scenic Hwy 71. The finish is located just in front of the airport terminal. This course is geared to people looking for a challenge, but is not too hilly for an early season test. A good first-time event for an individual or team or a great way to kickoff the race season for the seasoned athlete.
