Due to the need for social distancing surrounding the COVID-19 situation, many of the events listed on our calendar have been canceled or had the dates changed. We are not currently taking down events as we haven’t received any definitives from most event organizers. Ankles of Steel…Iron Will. That’s what you’ll need to take on the LOViT challenge – an endurance run of rocky, rolling hills and ridge lines that will take you along the southern rim of one of America’s most pristine fresh water lakes and through the ruggedly beautiful Ouachita National Forest.
Participants in both events will receive an event shirt and the experience of a supported run through the Ouachita Mountains with 6 manned aid stations on the 100k course and 10 manned aid stations on the 100 mile course – many that you will cross multiple times. 100k finishers will receive a medal and 100 Mile finishers a custom finisher’s buckle to commemorate their accomplishment. Participants in both events will enjoy additional event swag plus one comped breakfast buffet during Sunday’s awards brunch.

Three Days of Syllamo annual gathering at Blanchard Springs in the middle of March is old school trailrunning at it’s purest. The event was created by Steve Kirk in 2005 and has become a yearly pilgrimage to the Ozarks for many adventure seekers, reuniting for a weekend of challenging races, fellowship and the opportunity to become one of the SYLLAMOPEOPLE!
Over the course of three days, runners will experience the Sylamore, Syllamo and Ozark Highlands Trails. Winding, climbing and descending through the rugged Sylamore Ranger District including several creek crossings, past scenic vistas and bluffs and through dense forest
Courses…Change Every Year!
50KM: This run will take place on the Syllamo Trails. Full aid stations will be provided at approximately 4-8 miles apart. Due to the unique nature of these trails the race will not be exactly 50KM.

Time Limit: 10 Hours
50 MILE: “This is where the fun starts”. This run will be held on the Sylamore, Syllamo and Ozark Highlands Trails that winds, climbs and descends through the beautiful Sylamore Ranger District including several creek crossings, past scenic vistas and bluffs and through dense forest. 20KM: This run will take place on the Jack’s Branch Loop. The direction of the loop changes each year. Aid will be provided at the halfway point.

Time Limit: 6 Hours

Day Three: Jack’s Branch Course Record Challenge- We want to see how fast this course can be run! The Loot will be determined based on entries…the bigger the field the bigger the prize. Since this course is reversed every year, you will have multiple opportunities for the CR!
Stage entry fee $175 (or) $70 for 50k, $85 for 50m and $40 for 20k individually before February 15.
After February 15 the Stage entry fee will be $205 (or) $85 for 50k, $100 for 50m and $50 for 20k individually.
Entry fee will include giveaways, great race bags and donations to further support trail maintenance and development.
Entertainment and meals after both the 50k and 50mi. Dinnerware is not provided as we work to minimize our waste for this event.
