PLEASE REGISTER EARLY! March 9, 2019 is the date for the 14th Annual Chase Race and Paws. The event is only 61 days away. You may register online

at www.chaserace.info. or RunSignUp or you may mail in the attached entry form.  Some of the amenities for this year’s event include:

  • Same super-fast out and back course as last year – the race will start/finish at Simon Park, 805 Spring St., Conway.
  • The Technical Tee Shirts are 100% poly (feels soft), Unisex and Youth sizes.
  • $100 cash to Male or Female that breaks their respective overall time record.
  • Complimentary 2020 Entry Form to anyone who breaks an age group record.
  • Awards are five deep in all age groups.
  • Medals to all registered finishers.
  • Chip timing, including start and finish mat for 2M and finish mat only for 1m.
  • Judges will determine the top 3 pet costumes as they participate in the 1-mile event.
  • Pet adoptions
  • Chase Race & Paws is a non-profit event.  All proceeds from the event are donated to “HAVEN HOUSE,” every child deserves a home.

Your early registration will help us in ordering (more accurately) the Tee Shirts.

Enjoy 30 miles of Razorback Greenway cycling followed by post ride festivities that include live music, community farmer’s markets, refreshments, discounts to square area businesses, bicycle valet, and more!

The Square 2 Square Bike Ride follows the Razorback Greenway. The SPRING ride starts in Fayetteville and finishes in Bentonville. In the FALL, the start is in Bentonville and the finish is in Fayetteville. Fun for all ages! Total distance one-way is 30 miles. Along the course, participants can enjoy three festive pit stops featuring entertainment, bike maintenance services, and basic ride refreshments.

Riders are welcome to start at any point along the trail if not able to ride entire 30 miles. Optional shuttles (by reservation) will be available to the starting area, before and after the ride.

Ride Start: 8am-10:00am (chose a start time when you register) — Spring ride starts in Fayetteville
Finish Line Festivities: 10:00am-3pm — Spring rides finishes in Bentonville

TGR100/MTB/5K Run/Walk benefits the Community Services Clearinghouse.

Route Distances: Road Ride 10, 28,42,66 and 100 miles, the Mountain Bike Ride is a 15 mile guided Mountain Bike Tour and the newest addition is the 5K Walk/Run. We offer a course for riders of any skill level.

Entry Fees: Registration is $50 for the TGR , $45 for the TG Mountain Bike Ride and $35 for the TG 5K Walk/Run.

The Clearinghouse is a well-established, non-profit organization located in Fort Smith, Arkansas, that provides emergency assistance to families and children in need throughout seven counties in Arkansas and Oklahoma. The most well-known program the Clearinghouse offers is the Meals for Kids backpack program, which distributes over 2,500 sacks of weekend food each Friday to children who otherwise would go hungry before returning to class on Monday.

Post Ride Celebration: 10:00am-3:00pm – Fall rides finishes in Fayetteville (adjacent to The Square)

Optional shuttles (by fee and reservation) available to the starting area, before and after the ride. Shuttle reservations can be made when registering and the shuttle cost is $5.00 per person.
Shuttles will pick up at the Hillcrest Towers Bus Stop in Fayetteville located at Center Street and School Avenue.
Shuttles will drop off at the Benton County Office Complex in Bentonville located near the Square between E Central Ave and NE 2nd St.
Shuttle times are 7am, 8am, 9am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm. Shuttles can carry 75 people and bikes per timeslot.

Packet Pick Up

Packets are available for pick up in both Bentonville and Fayetteville prior to the ride date. Please choose which City you plan to pick up your packet from during the online registration process. Packets include your event t-shirt, water bottle, and required wristband.

CHASE RACE 2-MILE is an AR Grand Prix Championship Race. We believe it is the best 2-MILE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE ever. Walkers and slower runners yield to faster runners on the course.  All participants will be directed to the right side of the course streets. No dogs in this one please!  The course is certified by USATF and disposable chip timing with S/F mats will be provided.

PAWS RACE 1-Mile event is for participants who want to run or walk with their leashed dog/pet. It is a fun event for dogs/pets of all breeds, ages and sizes!  The course will be gun timed (no start mat).

Both events start and finish at Simon Park, 805 Front Street, Conway, AR.
OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
1) Best Pet Costume Contest. Judging and winners will be determined during the 1-Mile race.
2) Conway Animal Shelter will have pets available for adoption.
C o u r s e s: The 2M & PAWS 1M courses are out & back, flat and fast with excellent traffic control & aid station. An experienced team of organizers will make the event exciting and fun. Restrooms will be available.  See you at the start line March 9!  Participants of all abilities, ” ON YOUR MARK”!R u n n e r a m e n i t i e s: Each Participant will receive a 100% Poly Unisex souvenir T-Shirt. To be guaranteed a T-shirt of your size, you must register before FEBRUARY 20, 2019. Participants will also receive an awesome “goodie” bag and will be eligible for fabulous door prizes. Each finisher will receive an unique Chase Race medal.

Race results will be posted on Mac’s Race Timing, AR RRCA, Arkansas Runner and www.chaserace. info.

REFRESHMENTS: Various drinks, donuts, pizza, hot dogs, and other refreshments will be available for participants and family on race day.
P a c k e t p i c k – u p: Sporty Runner, 1016 Van Ronkle, Conway, 501-328-9255, Friday, March 8th, 12 Noon– 6:00 pm. On race day, packets will be available at Simon Park from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m.
Directions to the Race: Take I-40 to Exit 127, west on Hwy 64 (Oak St) approx. 1mile to Front St., left (south) on Front, Simon Park is on right. Parking is available at various lots 1-2 blocks away.
AWARDS: The awards ceremony will be at Simon Park Pavilion following the races. A total of 239 awards will be presented during the event!  Please be patient and courteous to all award recipients. With this many awards, some will be getting personal recognition for the first time and all takes time.  If you need to leave early, please have someone pick up your award or it will be available at Sporty Runner the following week. No awards will be available prior to the official awards ceremony.  Thanks in advance for being patient and understanding.

Awards to 1st Five Male/Female finishers.  Awarded at finish line.  Please remember, one foot must be touching the pavement at all times.

Paws Race 1-Mile ( 30 Awards): First 15 male/ female finishers.
Awarded at finish line.

Pets Best Costume Contest ( 3 Awards ):  Top 5 as determined by the Judges!! Pets must participate in the 1 Mile race to be eligible for an award. Winners will be chosen during the race.
