WHAT IS ENDURO?
Enduro racing combines many aspects of mountain bike disciplines- endurance of cross country, technical features of downhill, and requires adaptability to varying terrain. In a cross-country race, riders compete in a group for fastest overall time on a course with terrain most suitable for a hardtail or short travel bike. A downhill race is a solo run on a downhill only trail with extreme rock features and jumps. Enduro racing combines elements of both disciplines to offer a course that is both technically challenging but also requires pedaling endurance. The timing method is unique as well. Riders are timed primarily on the downhills that offer, diverse segments over several stages throughout the course.

Complete your Virtual Run by 9/7/2020 to receive your T-Shirt, hat or visor and goody bag!

Due to the current COVID-19 situation in Northwest Arkansas, the fall Square 2 Square Bike Ride scheduled for September 19, will be rolling into a virtual format. Our team will miss hosting the full Square 2 Square “day of ride” experience that participants love along the Razorback Greenway. However, our spring ride challenge was very well received and this fall the Square 2 Square Bike Ride will expand to a full virtual ride complete with all of the great swag!
As an alternative, the Parks & Recreation Departments of Bentonville and Fayetteville have organized a Square 2 Square Virtual Ride! With the goals of providing an event for new people on bikes, promoting safe riding, showcasing the Razorback Greenway, and supporting our neighbors, S2S has a few NEW options this fall.
Event Information
The virtual ride will take place September 19 – November 1, when fall weather is at its best for cycling! In addition to the traditional 30 mile course along the Razorback Greenway from Bentonville’s Square to Fayetteville’s Square, the virtual ride will feature a 15 mile option. Suggested route maps will be shared to make your ride planning easy, whether it be starting in the north or in the south, riding point to point or round trip. Our S2S vision is to enable you to enjoy the 15 or 30 mile journey on the Razorback Greenway on your own, following physical distancing guidelines, carrying hand sanitizer, and keeping safety a priority!
When: September 19 – November 1, 2020
Where: Razorback Regional Greenway
Who: Anyone who likes to bike, support the local cycling scene, and burn calories!
What: A cycling celebration of our downtown squares and the unique amenity we are fortunate to have in Northwest Arkansas!
Registration
Registration is open and available through October 11. Additional details will be provided prior to the virtual ride start date to those registered.
Adult Virtual Ride – $25: includes tech t-shirt, water bottle, finisher medal, goody bag

Course Details
Use this link to view an interactive map of the Razorback Regional Greenway. Printable route maps for suggested 30 mile and 15 miles routes will be available prior to the start date.
Strava and Ride Spot are recommended apps to be used for navigation / activity tracking if you prefer digital/technology platforms.
Sponsors
The Fayetteville Race Series and events like the Square 2 Square Bike Ride would not be successful without support from our sponsors. First and foremost, we appreciate our Square 2 Square Bike Ride collaborative planning partners, Bentonville Parks & Recreation who help to make this event possible. Thank you to all the businesses and organizations that have contributed.
