LITTLE ROCK, AR – Keep Little Rock Beautiful is soliciting volunteers to participate in the March 14, 2020, Citywide Cleanup.
As a Keep America Beautiful affiliate, we are organizing this as part of the Great American Cleanup, the largest grassroots cleanup effort in the nation.
This cleanup cannot be successful without our friends and partners. We invite citizens, businesses and other organizations to help by organizing a cleanup in your neighborhood or church/business location.
Keep Little Rock Beautiful will be able to provide some resources (trash bags, safety vests and gloves for volunteers) to registered cleanups. Registration forms are available on our website at http://www.keeplittlerockbeautiful.com/get-involved/litter-prevention/2020-city-wide-cleanup/.
We need to receive applications no later than February 12. You can contact us at info@klrb.org or call us at 501-765-3530 and leave a message. Please e-mail the application back to us.
We really want to encourage the community’s involvement in the 11th Annual City-Wide Cleanup from 8 a.m. to noon. You and your friends, coworkers, club or church members can make a huge difference.
We would like to also encourage residents to get involved in the Adopt-A-Street Program, a partnership between KLRB and Little Rock Public Works.
Our goal is to empower and energize the citizens of Little Rock to take action in the areas of litter prevention, community improvement, recycling, waste reduction, and beautification. We are reaching out to neighborhood associations, churches, civic groups, schools, youth organizations, businesses and individuals to join us in our endeavor.
