Critical Mass rides take place in cities around the world. It is intentionally disorganized other than a set location and time to ride. Little Rock Critical Mass Rides happen monthly to ride together through the city creating a “critical mass” of riders to promote and protect the safety of people on bikes. All ages and abilities are welcome!
May is National Bike Month, promoted by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast. Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to give biking a try.
Riders will meet at Rock Town River Outfitters in the River Market and ride out at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 13. The ride is expected to be approximately 6 miles and will take about an hour. The route will be designed for beginner riders and will end at Lost 40 Brewing for some after-ride refreshments. Riders can return to the start or home on their own or in groups. Helmets are not required but are strongly suggested.
