Frequently Asked Questions – Noon2Moon Mountain Bike Race

  • How long is the event?
    Roughly 14 hours! Within those 14 hours, we will have last-minute packet pick up, race announcements, race start for 12 & 6-hour mountain bike races, loads of other fun stuff, and awards!
  • What are the trails that will be included?
    That’s a surprise for now! But plan on getting a little bit of everything. A dash of Esther’s and Oscar’s, a healthy serving of Fireline, and maybe even some greenway.
  • What is included with my registration fee?
    Your race, a meal ticket, and a Noon 2 Moon medal.
  • What are the prizes?
    Cool stuff from our sponsors and local businesses, as well as cash prizes for the 12 hour PRO open class.
  • Where do the registration fees and donations go?
    Coler Mountain Bike Preserve is a community space provided by the Peel Compton Foundation. All registration fees and peer-to-peer donations support the Peel Compton Foundation, whose mission is to connect the community through nature, education, recreation, and preservation. These funds will support trail work at Coler and affordable programming.
  • Where do I park?
    Any Coler parking lot (list out). We also recommend riding in from home or carpooling!
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Sure! Just keep him or her on a leash and clean up after poopy business. We might even have fun awards for the cutest dog or best dog costumes. You never know! 😉
  • What non-race activities will be included?
    We will have spectator heckle zones, kids’ activities and races, a movie, and more!
  • Can I bring my own alcohol?
    Sure. We just ask that you refrain from bringing glass containers. Also, be respectful of the public and our property. We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates preserve rules or provides alcohol to minors.
  • Will there be food/can I bring my own?
    Airship café will be open during their normal business hours. You’re welcome to bring your own picnic-style food (or check out the food trucks – TBD)
  • Where can I stay?
    There are loads of amazing Air BnB’s in and around Bentonville as well as a plethora of hotels. Our campground has been reserved for our hard-working volunteers that will be onsite well beyond the 14-hour event.
  • Where will the check-in table be located?
    The Grove parking lot!
  • Where can my family/friends cheer me on?

Update –

Coler Mountain Bike Preserve is bringing together the community and local businesses for Noon2Moon. Their inaugural endurance mountain bike race will take place on Saturday, May 14 th 2022.

  • Sign up for the 6- or 12- hour race: Register to race solo or grab a friend (or two) and race as a team. Those who complete the most laps in their category will be awarded special prizes and medals. Both races begin at 12 pm.
  • Fun at The Homestead: This community event will be complete with food trucks, a vendor village, heckle zones, and a kids’ zone, at the Homestead (across from Airship) and beyond! Cowbells and costumes are encouraged! Spectators can park at 1807 SW 2 nd Street in Bentonville, and bike or walk to the Homestead via the Applegate Trail.
  • Support a Rider: This race is a peer-to-peer fundraising event, with a prize awarded to the top fundraiser! When you register, back a rider, or donate, you’re supporting the trails and programs that make Coler a unique destination for all!
