The Southern Enduro Tour (SET) visits Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma – offering the best variety of terrain in the midwest and creating a regional championship that is both challenging and fun for any mountain biker that is seeking a premium race experience. At the end of the season, the SET will crown competitors as the best all-around riders!

SET returns to Hot Springs, Arkansas for the fourth year of Wildcat Marathon & Northwoods Enduro at Cedar Glades Park!

The event will be in conjunction with the Wildcat Marathon. There will be a coveted King & Queen award for the top male and female who take on both the Wildcat Marathon and the Northwoods Enduro!

The race is rated | Skill-6 | Fitness-8 | Gnar-5

This is a one-day stop with up to 7 stages. The full schedule and course map will be released the week of the event detailing how many stages each day will have.

DUAL SLALOM

The Dual Slalom will be on Friday.

Riders registered for the DS can pick up their timing chips starting at 10 AM and can have 30 minutes to take runs on the DS stage.

Chips must be turned in once you are done, or by 5 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS), and your best time will be your qualifying time. The finals bracket will start at 5:30 PM and be determined by the eight fastest qualifying times in each category; Men’s Open, Women’s Open, and Juniors Open.

The racers will compete in the DS bracket and each full round (going down each side of the run with the same opponent) will determine the winner and who will move on to the next round. The top and final Racer in each category will win a prize from one of our awesome sponsors.

To keep our production quality high there will be a cap on the number of racers. We will also offer a “Just Ride” category where participants can ride the enduro courses on Friday during Pre-Ride and Saturday after the Wildcat Marathon – this is an untimed category. Event Swag & Post Race Meal included in Just Ride – no raffle ticket.

Only Racers and Just Ride, with a number plate on, will be allowed on the event stages during Pre-Ride.

Timed Enduro Racers only, with number plate on, on stages during the race on Sunday.

Racing Age | What your age will be on 12/31/21

SET Race Waiver | Must be signed by all participants on-site and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent present with them at Check In to sign waiver.

Participants will register for the category they will remain in for the series to qualify for Overalls. You cannot change categories after the second stop and you must notify April at april@slaughtertrailguides.com if you are changing your category prior to that.

The Tour Overall is your best 5 out of 6 results. You must finish 3 races to qualify for the overall. In the event that there is a tie in the overall- each rider’s next best finish will be calculated into the overall score until the tie is broken. If two riders have completed all 6 races and still have tied points- total race time will be calculated, the lower times advances into the overall position.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU REGISTER USING THE SAME NAME FOR EACH STOP or your Overall points will be affected.

These are rain, shine, ice or snow events except under extreme circumstances in which we will notify all participants of any cancelations.

REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY

Refunds | With a 15% fee we will honor a refund when the request is at least two weeks (14 days) prior to the race.

If the request is made with less than two weeks to the race then a refund will not be available.

Transfers | With a 15% fee we will honor a transfer to another SET race within the season when the request is at least one week (7 days) prior to the race.

If the request is made with less than a week of the race then a transfer will not be available.

In the event a transfer is given the participant will receive a credit/coupon code, minus the 15% fee, to use to register for an upcoming race within the season. The participant will need to pay for any difference in entry fee(s). If the credit is not used by the end of the season it will expire and no further transfers or refunds will be available for it.

We do not accept participant-to-participant transfers.

CAMPING, LODGING, & VENUE INFO

Free dry, primitive camping for tents or RVs (no hookups) will be available at the Race Venue site which is located at Cedar Glades Park. Camping will be in a certain area of the park and will be on a first come, first get what spot you want basis. No showers on-site but there will be porta johns. The Cedar Glades Trail Head has the most parking available, a playground, bike skills area, and a walking trail.
