The Battle for Townsend’s Ridge AMBCS Race

Please join host the Ozark Off-Road Cyclists for the Annual Battle For Townsends Ridge XC Race at Hobbs State Park! This race is part of the AMBCS series.

The race will run COUNTER-CLOCKWISE 2019!

Kids Race Free (Juniors 14 & under)! The OORC has waived all Junior registration fees for the race in a continued effort to make mountain biking more accessible for our youth. Parent Note – Kids will still be required to hold a one-day or annual USAC license for insurance/liability and those may be purchased in the pre-registration process or onsite for just $10 (one-day). AMBCS waives the $5 hard plate fee as well.

All racers are required to purchase a one-time AMBCS hard plate at the first race they attend during the season for $5. Juniors 14 and under are FREE!

All racers are asked to enter the State Park down Piney Rd. (paved) and follow arrows to the event grounds located at the parking lot along Townsends Ridge Rd. NOTE: Townsends Ridge Rd from Hwy. 12 will be closed to auto traffic the morning of the event.

Onsite registration will be available the morning of the event. Riders that pre-register still need to check-in at registration, but your wait-time should be minimum. Onsite registration will close 30 minutes prior to each Class start time. If this is your first race of the season you will need to purchase an AMBCS hard plate for $5.

Cash or Check ONLY! Checks can be made payable to the “OORC”. We will not be able to process credit cards at the State Park.

Please remember that there is a very good chance that the person or persons assisting you on race day are volunteers and have donated their time. Please be courteous and thank them for their volunteerism.

Lunch will be served for all participants/attendees.
