Hot Springs to hold Public Meeting on Phase 2 of Velocity Bike Park

The Hot Springs Parks & Trails Department will be holding a public meeting at 111 Opera Street, Ste. A on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 5:30 PM, to discuss and receive community input on Velocity Park, Phase 2, a bicycle skills park located at 325 Valley Street.

Phase 1 construction, scheduled to begin next month, will include a pump track, outer skills flow trail, and parking lot. Phase 2 is currently designed to include the additional pump track and inner skills flow trail features circled in red on the attached map.

A large map of the park and skills features will be available to view at the meeting. Ethnic minorities, persons of disabilities, senior citizens, and special interest groups are encouraged to attend and participate. All input will be included in our Outdoor Recreation Grant application for funding from the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism
