Inaugural mountain biking, community-building event less than two weeks away
BENTONVILLE, AR., Sept. 6, 2022 – There is less than a week to purchase tickets for the Women of OZ Sunset Summit, an experience that will blend outdoor recreation, art, culture, and culinary attractions. The deadline to purchase tickets is Saturday, Sept. 10, for the Sept. 16-17 summit that will be held at the Momentary in Bentonville.
Unlike other events in the industry, the Sunset Summit is intended to be more than a workshop: Women of all skill levels – even those who have never tried mountain biking before – are invited to learn the fundamentals of the sport, while developing confidence and building community. The summit will include a weekend of OZ Trails rides, workshops for riders of all levels, Grammy-worthy entertainment, and cultural adventures found only in Northwest Arkansas. Other features of the summit will be a guided bike-and-art tour led by OZ Art NWA, a Women of OZ documentary screening with the Bentonville Film Foundation, and VIP access to Japanese Breakfast.
Brooke Goudy, community advocate, Colorado-based mountain biking professional, and co-leader of Black Girls Do Bike, will deliver the keynote speech. She joins a sterling lineup of more than 75 of the nation’s top mountain biking industry leaders and coaches for a weekend of OZ Trails rides, workshops for riders of all levels, Grammy-worthy entertainment, and cultural adventures exclusive to Northwest Arkansas.
