Bicycle Boy

Last weekend I got my first chance to ride over the new Clinton Library Park Bridge. It was a wonderful ride. On the North Little Rock side I came across a bronze statue of a boy on a bicycle. It was an interesting thing to see, obviously not permanently in place but fitting as a welcome from the North Little Rock area to the new bicycle/pedestrian bridge. What a day for a ride! The sixth installment of the Big Dam Bridge 100 seems to have gone off with few problems. My wife and I opted for the 68 mile version having done the 100 a couple of years ago and knowing that we hadn't trained properly for that. Little Rock is such a cool place…

Last night we decided to check out a little concert at a church nearby. After dinner we walked through our neighborhood to the church (about a mile away) to see the Central High School Jazz Ensemble do their annual concert.
