We’ll be doing it again this year with options for all rider levels, both on road and off road. We’ll meet at Pavilion #2 in Murray Park on Rebsamen Park Road in Little Rock at 2 pm  on Sunday, May 14th, with several small group rides leaving at approximately 2:30 and returning approximately 3:30. Cyclofemme2012 Year ONE

Now all we need is You.  Cyclofemme, and the inspiration behind the event has been getting well deserved attention from the media recently. Founder Sarai Snyder has been working hard to get the word out. Follow Cyclofemme on Twitter and Facebook and use #Cyclofemme on Instagram, twitter and facebook. Women around the world are planning to get in on the action .  We want you to be one of the thousands of people who will be riding in solidarity behind the power of the bicycle on Sunday May 14th, 2017, fulfilling the pledge to Inspire One More Woman to Ride.

This year there is something new. Cyclofemme is partnering with World Bicycle Relief. There will be a donation box at the event if you would like to donate. You can also donate online here. $147 provides a bike for a woman or girl in Kenya.

IGNITE THE WOMAN
This year, as riders celebrate CycloFemme worldwide—empowering ourselves and one another—we have the added benefit of sharing that same opportunity with girls in Africa. All fundraising dollars will be matched by a challenge grant, doubling the number of Buffalo Bicycles we collectively fund for women and girls in Kenya. In the hands of a girl, a bicycle provides options, independence, and access to education.

CycloFemme-570x255You can print your own pledge or watermark your own photos to share with friends here. If you’re on Instagram or Twitter, please share your pledge with #WeRideTogether #iCyclofemme, #cyclofemme, tag @Cyclofemme and @ArkansasOutside. Then join us on May 14th at 2 p.m. We’ll separate riding groups according to desired pace and terrain then take off for rides lasting approximately one hour before returning to the park for socializing and re-hydrating.
