Lake Winona Gravel Bike Loop Gets New Signage

Are you a passionate cycling enthusiast, mountain biker, or gravel grinder? If so, you’re in for a real treat! The Lake Winona Gravel Bike Loop has recently received new signage. This 41-mile route starts at the parking lot of Lake Sylvia Recreation Area, located 38 miles west of Little Rock. The route takes you on a scenic journey along national forest roads, showcasing a variety of breathtaking mountain landscapes and scenic vistas along the eastern edge of the Ouachita National Forest.

As you ride along the route, you’ll encounter intermediate topography with intermittent sections of challenging climbs, followed by rewarding downhill descents. The main road intersections on the route are now marked with a bicycle symbol and designated segment numbers. This means you can easily navigate the route and track your progress.
